Before you apply

Frequently asked questions

Everything candidates typically ask about our roles, assessments, and hiring process.

Can I apply to multiple job opportunities?+

Yes. You are welcome to apply to any opportunities that may be a strong fit. We encourage you to monitor our careers page regularly for new openings.

Is English required?+

Yes. All roles require professional working English. The team is fully global and operates entirely in English — written and spoken.

How do I reach the interview stage?+

Our recruitment process is skills-based, giving every applicant the same opportunity regardless of background. You must complete all assessments before being considered for an interview.

Can I email my CV directly?+

Please apply through the platform at careers.ignitetech.ai — you will upload your CV there. Applications submitted by email are not reviewed.

Is the CCAT mandatory?+

Yes. The CCAT (Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test) is a mandatory step applied to all job opportunities, regardless of role or level. If you receive a job offer, you will also be required to complete a proctored version of the test before your onboarding can proceed.

Can I reapply after being rejected?+

Yes. If your application was unsuccessful, you may reapply to the same role after six months.

I completed my application — how do I check my results?+

You can check your application status at any time by visiting the My Applications page. You will also receive an email notification once your application review is complete.

How long does the recruitment process take?+

The timeline varies by role and volume of applicants. As a general guide, candidates who complete all assessments promptly can expect to hear back within two to four weeks. We aim to move strong candidates forward as quickly as possible.

Will I receive feedback if I am not selected?+

Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individual feedback at the assessment stage. If you reach the interview stage and are not selected, your interviewer may share high-level observations upon request.

Can I save my application and continue later?+

Yes. Your progress is saved automatically. You can return to your application at any time by logging into your account and visiting the My Applications page. Note that once a timed assessment has started, it cannot be paused.

What happens after I complete all assessments?+

Your results are reviewed and ranked against other applicants. Candidates with the strongest overall performance are invited to interview first. Completing all assessments does not guarantee an interview invitation, but it is a required step to be considered.

Is the camera mandatory for video assessments?+

No. Camera use is not mandatory. You may record using your camera, screen, or both — whichever best allows you to deliver a clear and natural response.

How many interview stages are there?+

The number of interviews varies by role. Most positions involve one to two interview stages. You will be informed of the process at each step before proceeding.

Is there a time limit on the assessments?+

Yes. Most assessments are timed. The time limit for each assessment is displayed on the start screen before you begin. The timer starts as soon as you click Start and cannot be paused.

What happens if my internet connection drops during a test?+

We recommend ensuring you have a stable internet connection before starting any timed assessment. If your connection drops mid-assessment, your answers up to that point may be saved, but we cannot guarantee a full recovery. Contact our support team immediately if this happens.

Can I retake an assessment if I fail?+

No. Assessments can only be completed once per application. If you do not meet the minimum score, you may reapply to the same role after six months. Exception: we may offer one additional CCAT attempt, depending on the score achieved in your first attempt.

Are the assessments the same for every role?+

The cognitive aptitude test is applied to all roles. Role-specific assessments — such as technical tests, business case scenarios, or video responses — vary depending on the position and are designed to evaluate the specific skills required.

Are the roles full-time or part-time?+

Most roles are full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Part-time arrangements are not typically available unless stated in the job description.

Do you use time tracking software?+

Yes. WorkSmart is used company-wide. It logs mouse and keystroke activity and takes periodic screenshots of active windows to quantify paid hours. You have full access to review and remove your own timecards. Evaluation is outcome-based — WorkSmart quantifies hours worked, not performance.

Do you provide visa sponsorship or relocation support?+

No. We do not provide visa sponsorship or relocation assistance. You must be authorized to work in the country where you reside. Residents of OFAC-restricted countries cannot be engaged.

Can I work temporarily from another country?+

Yes, in most cases. Working temporarily from a different country is generally fine, provided that country is not on the OFAC-restricted list. If you are unsure, contact support before making travel arrangements.

What time zone do I need to be available in?+

We generally require at least 50% of your working hours to overlap with US Central Time. However, the exact time zone requirements may vary by role and are specified in each job description.

Are these employee or contractor positions?+

All positions are independent contractor roles. You will be responsible for your own taxes, healthcare, retirement plan, and time off. Payment is made weekly at the advertised hourly rate. Exception: U.S. W2 employees are eligible for benefits.

Where are the roles based — are they fully remote?+

Yes. All roles are fully remote. You can work from anywhere in the world, provided you have a stable internet connection and the required time zone overlap.

What is the payment currency and frequency?+

Payment is made weekly in USD. Compensation is benchmarked against global top-quartile rates and is competitive regardless of your location.

Who do I contact if I experience a technical problem during my application?+

If you encounter a technical issue, please contact our support team as soon as possible with a description of the problem and your application details. We will do our best to assist you promptly.

My video submission was rejected — what should I check?+

Please verify that your video sharing settings are set to "Anyone with the link can view." Submissions with restricted access are automatically rejected. Re-submit with the correct sharing settings before your assessment window closes.

Why was my application rejected before I completed my assessments?+

Each assessment has a fixed time limit and can't be paused once started. Rejections at this stage usually happen for one of two reasons: - Time ran out before you finished, and the portion completed didn't score high enough to advance. - You finished within the time limit, but the score didn't meet the threshold to move to the next stage. In both cases, remaining assessments aren't administered once a score falls below the required bar.

I did not receive a confirmation email — what should I do?+

First, check your spam or junk folder. If the email is not there, log into your account and verify your application status on the My Applications page. If the issue persists, contact our support team with your registered email address.
